Wildwood is pretty remote, but like the rock slides can get crowded on a hot weekend day (40+ people). The water temperature at Wildwood reaches the mid 70's this time of year, which is about 5-10 degrees warmer than what the Willamette through Eugene. The newly redesigned upper pool was crystal clear and about 104 degrees. The trail in was in great shape even though it's been raining non-stop for the past few days. Hoodoo really has done a great job managing and maintaining Cougar (Terwilliger) over the past few years. Keep up the good work! Check out the new video of the springs. It is a great place to get a way for the afternoon and enjoy a relaxing picnic. Wildwood falls is also a great beginner level falls to practice kayaking off of. The optimal flow is 400-600cfs and the line is one paddlers right. Wildwood falls is an awesome place! It is a great place to get a way for the afternoon and enjoy a relaxing picnic.
